Professor Trying To Block Reporter’s Access at U of Missouri: “Inexcusable Behavior”

At a university which prides itself in its School of Journalism, the behavior of an Assistant Professor of Communication’s behavior in trying to block a reporter’s access to an on-campus event is being called “inexcusable behavior” by the executive director of the RTDNA. Here is his statement, along with a link to the University’s official communication regarding the incident.

Note: Since the release of both documents referenced above, the U of Missouri School of Journalism has formally revoked the professional courtesy relationship between the school and the Assistant Professor of Communications – who is not and was not a member of the Journalism faculty.
