Leaner, Crisper, More Meaningful Stories

Writing gurus almost always agree on one thing: shorter communications are more powerful. “You have cancer.” “You’re overdrawn.” “Your horse came in first.” “We don’t have a reservation in your name.” While it’s not practical to write three-or four-word sentences in our news copy, the principle of economy of words still holds true.
