Fulton to lead morning show on WKOW-TV

Dana Fulton has been named 27 News Anchor and Executive Producer of 27 News Wake Up Wisconsin at WKOW -TV in Madison.

Fulton was promoted from Wake Up Meteorologist and will now anchor the weekday morning news from 4:30-7 a.m. on 27 News Wake Up Wisconsin.

Fulton joined WKOW-TV in September 2023 as WKOW TV’s Wake Up Meteorologist. Previously Fulton worked at WISC-TV in Madison and WACH-TV in Columbia, South Carolina. During her time at WACH she also worked as a weekend Manager, news anchor, multimedia journalist and meteorologist.

“Dana has been a crucial member of our Wake Up Wisconsin team and her previous experience managing and anchoring the news made her the perfect choice to lead our morning show” said WKOW-TV News Director Dani Maxwell. “Dana is someone our viewers know and trust. Her knowledge of Wisconsin will serve our audience well.”

Fulton is originally from Bartonville, Illinois and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Western Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from Mississippi State University.
