Are We News Writers or Wordsmiths?

We’ve all read corporate news releases that describe some new product or service in the most glowing terms. A friend sent me a column/blogpost from a woman who’s had it up to here with corporate-speak.

I think it’s worth the five minutes it takes to read, particularly if you’re someone who’s learned that simple writing is the best and most communicative.
